Billy Dee Smith champing at the bit

Billy Dee Smith isn't used to sitting and watching lacrosse games.
The Buffalo Bandits' defender would much prefer playing against the Minnesota Swarm Friday to sitting and watching as he waits for his injured knee to heal.
At least tonight he should be able to watch from a short distance. Smith's frustration grows when the Bandits are on a long road trip and he has to view the games online.
"Watching the games at home on the computer, screaming at the computer, is hard," Smith said. "The only consolation is that you can learn some things watching. You have a different appreciation for the game and a different outlook. You have to appreciate what you have. Coming back, I'll take that into consideration."
Smith was injured way back in July, when he was playing for Team Canada in the outdoor World Lacrosse Championships in Manchester, England.
