At the Major Series Lacrosse draft Sunday in Whitby, the Burlington Chiefs’ Kiel Matisz was the first overall.
Matisz was the OLA Junior A Player of the Year.
Brooklin also had the second overall pick and they used it to select Adam Jones of the Orangeville Northmen.
