Welcome to Jr. C lacrosse Brockville Ballistic

The Brockville Ballistic are moving up in the world of developmental lacrosse.
The Ballistic intermediate team of the past few years has been transformed into a Junior C franchise that will compete in an eastern loop of the Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League in 2011.
The final details, the number of teams and scheduling, will not be completed until early this spring but the Brockville Ballistic, organization is looking forward to the new challenge.
"It's kind of exciting and will hopefully help revive lacrosse in Brockville," said the Ballistic's Kevin Wallace. "It's a great game."
Junior and intermediate lacrosse have the same age limits, from 17 years of age up to 21, but is the next highest level of competition and is geared toward more serious development of players in smaller communities like Brockville.
In Brockville's case, other reasons it jumped at the chance to join a Junior C league are the time and distance and competition factors.
The Ballistic intermediate team last year spent much of its time heading west to Toronto and area to take on teams of equal calibre.
